Alpha Iron Works is seeking a boom truck driver/operator and helper to work with our fabricators and help
with other tasks. Experience preferred but we’re willing to train the right candidate. We’re a family run company with dedicated long term employees looking for someone mechanically inclined with a good attitude and work ethic to grow with us.

Responsibilities will include:

• Driving and operating our boom trucks (Class B CDL required)
• Assisting fabricators with material cutting and drilling
• Fork lift and overhead crane operation
• Material handling/lifting (must be able to lift 80 lbs)
• Grinding of steel railings and cleaning prior to painting
• Looking for candidates who are:
• Self motivated
• Reliable and responsible
• Drug-free (regular drug testing)
• Able to read, understand and following directions
• Have basic math skills
• Able to read a tape measure
• Willing and able to work overtime when required

Alpha Iron Works is a steel fabrication shop specializing in stairs and railings. We are seeking a fabricator/welder to work in the shop. Most of our work is either steel or stainless steel and occasionally aluminum.

The ideal candidate will be:

• MUST be able to layout and have excellent blue print reading skills
• 2 years experience in an industrial setting
• Mechanically inclined
• Skilled with tape measure and basic math
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated and hard working
• Have a good attitude and be able to work with others
• Be willing to work overtime as needed
• Be production-focused, efficient and open to improvement
• Able to fabricate in both carbon and stainless steel. MIG weld, operate cutting torch, plasma cutter,
• bandsaw, grinders, shear etc.
• Pre-employment and random drug screening
